What Happens Next?
Once you've completed the online
application and are approved for the Merchant Account, you will receive a
confirmation email with your new merchant account ID numbers for Visa,
Mastercard & American Express.
You will also get your username and password
to login to your secure online virtual terminal, and the phone numbers
you can use for customer support.
We have two types of approval guidelines:
|
|
|
|
|
If you meet our Auto-Approval Guidelines noted below, it
means that you will be approved regardless of the owner's personal credit
history. The only exceptions are for merchants in a current bankruptcy that has
not been discharged for a minimum of six months, for merchants on Visa/MC's CTMF
File, and for merchant applications that have falsified or fictitious
information. |
|
|
|
If you do not meet the Auto-Approval Guidelines, you can
still get approved! Your application will simply need to be supported by any one
of the following:
- Owner with a good, established personal credit history
- Business or personal financial statements or tax returns
- Current credit card processing statements
|
- Visa/MC Monthly Volume Less Than $10K
- Average Ticket Less Than $300
- Future Service Liability Less Than 30 Days*
- Acceptable Type Of Business

You
Can Accept Credit Cards Two Ways:
The first is by phone, fax or email. Orders that come to you in this manner, you
manually enter into your Virtual Terminal for processing. Any
computer can be used to access your virtual terminal.
The second way for you to accept credit card orders is automatically through
your website. After ordering, your customers enter their credit card information
and securely pay for their purchase online.
Authorizations,
Receipts, and Getting The Money
No
matter which way you choose to process your customer's credit cards -- manually
or through your website, the following things happen once a credit card number
is entered.
The credit card and its holder are
put through an authorization process. The system will securely check among other
things, if the card was reported stolen, is there enough credit on the card for
the purchase, and check if the shipping address and the billing address match,
which is known as AVS. If everything checks out...
The sale is approved
Receipts are automatically generated
and emailed by the system to you and your customer.
Your customer’s credit card is then
debited, and in 48-72 hours after the transaction, the money is deposited into
your local business checking account -- minus the merchant account rates and
fees.
That's all there is to it!
